Traumberuftechnik is an interactive event for fostering interest and understanding in STEM fields among young audiences. It was hosted by Johannes Kepler University, Linz, from 27th - 29th February 2024. ESR Jobin Raju and colleagues from DCS Computing delivered an engaging workshop entitled Fluid Mechanics in Everyday Life, featuring a hands-on Fluid-Particle Separation challenge, aimed at high school students. Participants experimented with tea bags and mugs, exploring practical applications of fluid mechanics. The workshop included an entertaining lecture exploring observed phenomena and highlighted industrial and research applications of fluid mechanics and particle technology.
